These revolving centres feature a spring loaded centre point to ensure super-fast set up and dismounting of the turning blank. The spring tension can be adjusted to suit the density of the wood, simply by rotating a grubscrew. Surrounding the centre point is a series of 20 razor sharp, precision machined teeth that will not split the wood. By tightening the tailstock, you can adjust the holding force from engaging just the tip of the centre point, through to full penetration of the hardened teeth.

CNC machined from a hardened tool steel, the revolving centre is perfectly balanced to ensure concentricity, resulting in super fine, chatter-free finishes to the turning. The nose cone rotates on two 30mm diameter single-race roller bearings that are sealed to prevent dust ingress and will accept substantial radial and axial load. These are premium, heavy duty, crown revolving centres that will give ultra smooth rotation and should not be confused with budget live centres that are normally supplied with a lathe. ©
