Silymarin is a powerful antioxidant which is said to protect liver cells (and other cells in the body and brain) from toxins. It apparently promotes liver cell protein synthesis and decreases the oxidation of glutathione. Milk thistle or silymarin may poteintially be beneficial in a number of diseases involving the liver, if in the early stages. Silymarin may have anti-cancer properties. Hepatocellular protection is achieved by stabilizing hepatic cell membrane. It affects the structure of the outer cell membrane of the hepatocytes in such a way as to prevent the penetration of the liver toxins into interior of the cell. It aids in repair & regeneration of damaged hepatocytes. Silymarin may also play a beneficial role for kidney health. It concentrates in kidney cells, where it aids in repair and regeneration.
Tricholine citrate – helps in promoting a healthy liver and minimises mobilization of fats to the liver.
N-acetylcystein – promotes detoxification and it is a powerful anti-oxidant. Has also been proven to be effective in various kidney ailment.

Indications/ Uses :
Diarest Liv Syrup is indicated in dogs and cats for
- Animals suffering from Inappetence
- Animals suffering from liver disorders
- Animals recuperating from infectious diseases
- Supportive therapies in liver affections like Cirrhosis, Fibrosis, Hepatitis, Jaundice, etc.
Directions for use:
- 0.5 ml per kg body weight : Once daily
- Or as suggested by the veterinarian.
- For oral use in dogs and cats only.
